Transfer & Camping Details
The transfer from Penrith Rugby Club to Seascale Primary School will be at 7.30pm on the Friday evening. Please be on time. The coach will not wait for you. Anticipated journey time: 1 hour 35 minutes (58 miles).
The transfer from Whitby Leisure Centre to Penrith Rugby Club will leave at 09.00 am on Sunday morning. Anticipated journey time 2 hours 45 mins (104 miles).
For the shuttle transfer all bikes must be in a bike box or cardboard box from a bike shop. We will not transfer bikes in bike bags. It's the responsibility of the rider to pack their bike. Boxes should be substantial enough that they can be stacked vertically in a van. The box needs to be clearly labelled twice with name / mobile number / rider number. Max weight 20kg.
Cardboard bike boxes will be available at £16 each and can be collected from our office in Cumbria or when you arrive at the coach transfer. We recommend you also add some bubble wrap when packing your bike and bring a roll of parcel tape. 
These need to be pre-purchased via our shop here you need to login to buy from here. If you have ordered a bike box from Open Cycling this will be at your chosen collection point Penrith/Seascale/Whitby.
All those who have booked onto the transfer will get there boxes transferred. If you require your bike box moving please get in touch asap and we can make the necessary arrangements. Please contact Jen if you wish to get your bike box transported from Seascale to Whitby and haven't booked onto the coach transfer.
The camping at Seascale will take place on the field to the rear of the school. There is no vehicle access to the field, so please use the car park is at the front of the school. On departure please check you have packed up all your kit including any rogue tent pegs. Remember small children will be playing on the field Monday morning. Camping Rules: No camp fires or BBQs to be lit, No dogs are allowed on the school field for hygiene reasons as the children play there and No glass on the field for safety reasons.
Bag collection and camping at Whitby Leisure Centre. Toilets and hot showers available. Small car park. We are offering you the option to camp within the sports hall rather than the typical outside option at Whitby Leisure Centre.
If you wish to stay in a B&B in Whitby or Seascale that's no worries, if you wish to leave your bike with us it must be left in your bike box.
